I’ve had my eye on this little number for about 5 years now. I ride by it all the time! It was even on sale once, but we weren’t at a place to buy a house.
Anyways, I did a little ride today. Tried to take it easy, since I did a harder ride on my birthday the other day and I’m neutropenic. My stats today: Time - 1:31:22, Distance - 21.8 miles, Average speed - 14.3mph, and Total ascent - 328 feet.
On another note… I didn’t realize I was wearing my Garmin jersey and riding my pink bike until I was already on the trail - Yay! Ryder, Garmin, and the Giro!

I had the best birthday today! It started with a walk with Megatron in the woods with my husband.
Then we went on a bike ride. We did my favorite route, the S. Lake Washington Loop. It was about 75 degrees out and sunny, clearly just for my birthday. Just like this holiday weekend was also created for my birthday (obviously:). I enjoyed seeing so many people out and about celebrating with me! My final stats were 24.88 miles, 846 feet of climbing, with a 12.8 mph average.
Then we went out to eat with my sister and her husband at St. Dames vegetarian/vegan restaurant. She got me this beautiful Stella and Dot bracelet. I forgot to get pictures of the meals, but they were delicious and healthy! I just found out my Dad was diagnosed with diabetes two months ago and I’m going to start cutting back on sweets and eating healthier to prevent the same diagnosis hopefully. I did have a nice piece of chocolate cake though, because it’s my birthday. My husband had chocolate cheesecake. It was a great day!
Another important person that shares this wonderful birthday with me is my adorable black kitty, Colbert, who is 5 this year!
