A little 43.9 mile ride with 2,690 feet of climbing. I got lost so I ended up doing a little more climbing and the detour wasn’t as scenic. But I found my way home, so it all worked out!

Had a little fun exploring with this monkey butt and then went and made up for nearly a week of no exercise! I did a 30 minute run, followed by 30 minutes stretching, an hour of abs, a 15 minute swim, and 10 minutes in the sauna. I better get a fucking 6 pack this year!

I love creating and following training plans! Last night I got to geek out while creating my plan for next year’s big event, RAMROD. It’s a 1 day bicycle ride of 150 miles with 10,000 feet of climbing. I’m nervous and excited!

I’m so excited I’m getting tattooed finally in a couple weeks! It’s been way too long. Like over 3 years. The whole cancer thing kind of threw me off course. I couldn’t get tattooed during treatment because my body was all fucked up and my counts were low. Then after, I really didn’t want any unnecessary pain. But I’m ready now! Or… at least I think I am ;)

Went on a beautiful 37 mile bike ride with 2,400 feet of climbing today.

Beautiful chocolate berry tart from @violetsweetshoppe during my 50 mile bike ride with 2,600 feet of climbing today. While I was there I hung out with my friend Jackie and met a man whose son had passed away from lymphoma (I was wearing my cancer survivor Jersey). It was a good reminder of what could have been, what’s important, and to live my life to the fullest. You never know what tomorrow will bring.

26 miles on the bike tonight and I finally conquered my fear of Renton hill. I don’t know what I was so scared of! It’s 11%-16% for 0.6 miles with a few smaller hills after. I haven’t done this since my three ring, hybrid, pre-clipless pedal days about 5 years ago!
